This role is a key contributor to making developer ecosystem a differentiator and competitive advantage for Nokia.

The successful candidate understands the market, can analyze future trends, create buzz in the market, and create demand amongst developers, publishers and local content brand owners for Nokia platforms and Ovi channels.
As an innovative outreach person, you will plan and execute activities that will excite, educate and attract developers, publishers and content owners to deliver top content to Ovi consumers.
Working together with Forum Nokia and Services Marketing, you will integrate those applications and content in the different solution themes and ensure that the applications are part of the marketing campaigns and events.
You will also work with the Marketing Activation team to ensure presence of application and content in retail, owned, bought and earned media.
The job will not be complete without our developers and publishers affirming their faith and trust in Nokia and Ovi. This will be aptly demonstrated by them promoting their Ovi content within their owned, bought and earned media.

Main responsibilities include:
• Plan, allocate and manage developer marketing spend
• Lead local relevant events where applications, developers and trends are core.
• Analyze and understand future trends, being a media and communities influencer, becoming an ambassador for Nokia.
• Thought leader in local Internet communities as thinking out of the box to create communication channels and methods to these communities.
• Explore non-Nokia developers and key brands publishers; understand key applications available in the market and the activities of the competing players.
• Provide proposals and timely feedback to GTM, Local Sales Unit and Product Management to integrate the key applications in the themes, optimizing the consumer experience in each theme.
• Work with Product Marketing to develop smart campaigns that are effective in targeted markets.
• Ensure that the key applications are properly promoted and sold through OVI Store.
• Ensure that the point of sales is trained in the application and know how to demonstrate.
• Turn feedback and ideas into implementation plans.

The ideal candidate has a Degree level education and a proven 5+ year’s track record in marketing within international environment.
• Services or solutions go-to-market experience
• Broad understanding of mobile communication, consumer electronics & traditional mobile phones business.
• Knowledge of developers, publishers and competitors. Experience working with the same preferred.
• Experience in cross functional project/program management
• Excellent presentation, process and project management skills

Has deep understanding of consumer behaviors, desires and preferences in relation to purchasing, owning and using mobile devices, services, and technology. Applies insight in business decisions, and translates consumer insights into innovative marketing activities and solution propositions.

Expert in Digital Sphere
Builds trusted consumer relationships through cutting edge digital marketing and direct interaction, to achieve consumer reach, engagement, conversion and retention. Masters digital media and understands the technologies that support it. Knows how consumers interact with digital and traditional media and applies insight in seeking out appropriate digital media for target audience. Optimises the use of digital media mix in consumer lifecycle communications and uses customer-generated approaches to categorize content. Can speak intelligently with technical programmers, agencies and business leaders about how to leverage digital capabilities.

Commercial Acumen
Demonstrates the business value of marketing by utilizing quantifiable metrics. Diagnoses problems quickly and relies on real-time observed behaviour (e.g. responses to blog) more than on reported past behaviour (e.g. focus groups). Analyzes and interprets complex data efficiently to make timely decisions. Uses feedback and makes ongoing adjustments to content or approach.

Masters Solution Marketing
Understands various types of marketing tools and techniques and has solid experience in implementing the tools across different types of media. Drives integrated marketing plans and activities. Executes brand strategy protecting and transforming the brand. Builds awareness and excitement of Nokia’s solutions through differentiated consumer stories, optimized touch point strategy, and launch and life cycle management. Communicates in an engaging, simple and intuitive way.

Relating and Networking
Establishes strong relationships and collaborates effectively with colleagues, partners and customers. Builds wide and useful networks of contacts inside and outside the organization. Manages conflict and relates well to people at all levels, purposely seeking contacts and maintaining a dialogue with key parties.
